In Mexico, the families of 43 disappeared students from Ayotzinapa continue to fight for answers from the government and police.

As a reminder, last September, 43 student activists went missing in the state of Guerrero, which led to months of nation-wide protests and riots. The families continue to demand answers and justice.

Recently, Aaron Lakoff of the CKUT news collective had a chance to sit down with Daniel Mendoza of Vancouver Solidarity for Ayotzinapa, who was in Montreal to raise awareness around the situation

Daniel Mendoza is currently helping to organize a caravan of the families of the 43 through the USA and Canada this spring.
