Announcing: The Palestine Solidarity Sessions on CKUT

As the tragedy unfolds in Gaza day to day, it underlines the importance of the work we are doing as independent community journalists to engage in truth-telling, and to also give our listeners tools to get involved in preventing Israeli aggression.

Throughout the month of August, CKUT brings you “The Palestine Solidarity Sessions”, an in-depth series focusing on the issue of Palestine, and what can be done.

**How to listen**

Tune in on CKUT, 90.3 FM in Montreal, or online at during the following shows:

The Morning Ater, Tuesdays 7am

Off the Hour, Wednesdays 5-6pm

Some of the topics explored will be the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, independent media coverage on Palestine, medical aid to Gaza, and much more.

Each segment will feature voices of Palestinians and their supporters throughout the world calling for a just peace – voices that are all too often left out of the mainstream media debate.

There could be a ceasefire in the coming weeks, and we know that when this happens, the mainstream media will likely stop covering Gaza, even though a humanitarian crisis will still be in full bloom. We are striving to fulfill CKUT’s mandate to give our listeners actionable info about how to get involved, and keep covering the story long after the cameras and journalists have left the Gaza strip.

**For other campus/community radio stations**

The Palestine Solidarity Sessions is available for syndication for free. Please feel free to air any of the segments, and credit CKUT radio. Email to let us know when they are going to air.
