We continue our series of reports on the repression of organized labour in the Philippines. Today’s segment features Nida Barcenas. She works for the Filipino human rights group Karapatan. She told the Canadian delegation that members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines routinely violate the human rights of peasants and human rights activists in her region. And she’s asking for the solidarity of people in Canada in the fight for human rights. Learn more about Karapatan at their website.
