As the 22nd Winter Olympic Games continue through until this weekend in Sochi, Russia, CKUT brings to you a critical perspective on how the Olympics impact the Environment, media coverage, public funding, and queer liberation. Jules Boykoff is a former Olympian athlete and current associate professor at Pacific University in Oregon, and the author of the book “Celebration Capitalism and the Olympic Games”.
